A foremost entertainer, Dr Helen Paul is also one of the most educated with a doctorate degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos. In addition, she has master's degrees in Business Administration and Public Administration (MBA and MPA) from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH). A stand-up comedian, with the stage name Tatafo, Helen Paul has worked as both a freelance and full-time presenter at several media houses, including Lagos Television (LTV 8), Continental Broadcasting Service (CBS), and MNet, where she currently co-presents ‘JARA’ on Africa Magic.

In July 2012, Paul released her debut album ‘Welcome Party’ and has subsequently released some other singles including ‘Take It Back’. In 2014, she opened a film and theater academy, named ‘Helen Paul Theater and Film Academy’ which comprises a dance studio, a makeup studio, a recording studio, a rehearsal studio, a photo studio, a mainly digital library, an editing studio, and a hostel for students who enrol for courses in the Academy
