Richard Mofe-Damijo (popularly known as RMD) is a Nigerian actor, writer, producer and former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State. In 2005, he won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. A 1997 graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Benin, RMD also read Law at the University of Lagos where he graduated in 2004. He is married with children

Richard Mofe-Damijo spoke at the 2017 RCCG Teap Teens Conference on Life is a Stage where he highlighted the following points:

• It’s cool to be cool, but its cooler to be cool knowing God and working with Him
• Each day you are on a stage, writing your script and as an African, you never perform alone, so, let your script be that written from the university of edifying knowledge!
• On my head is a big tub of anointing that is melting and as the liquid comes cascading down, I say to myself – I can make it!
